Adult Parodies
Adult Parodies have started to take the Adult industry over. Adult parodies videos have invaded the planet. This July, Friends and other sitcom-based Adult movies that have turned up in the past few years, some obvious ( three’s Company practically writes itself ), others less so ( Seinfeld? Honestly? ) have begun to get an Adultographic overhaul. This recent rash of parody Adult stems from the success of 2007’s Not the Bradys XXX.
Jeff Mullen, who writes and directs using the handle Will Ryder, helmed the Brady spoof and has since directed a sequel, as well as parodies of spellbound, The Cosby Show, and most recently, Married With kids. Everything that you see in the sector right now is because of Not the Bradys XXX. When Jeff Mullen’s company started making movies in 2005, they did a spoof of Britney Spears called Britney Rears, which became the largest title in Larry Flynt’s empire that year.
While acknowledging that, it was nothing in comparison to Not the Bradys. Pretty shortly the industry started listening and Jeff started branching out and doing other TV shows, and before you knew it people realized this was the new gold dash in Adult. And some have attempted it with some success and others have attempted it with poor success. I don’t believe folk spotted that this was more akin to making sitcoms vs making Adulto. They are Adult parodies Videos entertainers, not Adultographers.
The Brady Bunch was somewhat down on Jeff Mullen’s list. He was having dinner one night with a friend of his in the business. He said to him, ‘You should do The Brady Bunch.’ Jeff related, ‘That’s No. 6 on our list.’ he announced, ‘You should make that No. 1.’ And Jeff went home that night, and he suspected, you know what? He is’s right. So he put all his attention into it. Going into research, planning the sets, getting his team together, ready to go. And even though he’d grown up watching the show, he purchased the DVD set and studied it and watched the camera angles. Everything he could possibly do as a filmmaker to capture the essence of it. And really, the recent shoot that he did was so good that people are going to think it is an episode of the show.
The public wanted Hollywood sitcoms that had sex. And that’s what the industry is silly about doing at the moment. And they really achieved it. I believe the most superb picture is the spoof of The Cosby Show, which came out in June. They’d 250,000 perspectives of the trailer on YouTube, which is pretty dazzling. The Huxtables were like the black Brady Bunch, and so they took a couple of the most wholesome shows in America and had tons of fun with them. Then they took one of the most dysfunctional families on TV with Married With kids that just came out. And it turned out to be the most complete flick and definitely one of the finest Adult parodies videos of all because that show is just so hilarious. It’s just line, line, zinger, line, line, zinger. So we had to scribble it appropriately.
